Areas of Work

Software, trade, construction and community

UKAŞ works in four areas: software as its core business, trade focused on iron and steel, construction and contracting carried out through the group company UKAŞ İnşaat, and an Institute for Community Studies now in preparation.

01

Software

Software is UKAŞ's core business. Enterprise systems, data infrastructure and AI-assisted applications are developed in-house, with the entire process — from system, database and network layers to the end-user interface — carried out by the company's own engineering team.

Activity is conducted within a registered scope extending from custom software development to enterprise resource planning and CRM systems, from web and mobile applications to software-as-a-service models.

02

Trade

Iron and steel sit at the center of trading activity. Domestic and international trade in iron and steel products for the construction and manufacturing industries is conducted with sourcing, logistics and after-sales managed as a single chain.

The articles of association cover trade in metal products — from iron, steel and stainless steel to aluminium and copper — in all its forms, including import, export and transit trade.

03

Construction & Contracting

Construction and contracting works are carried out by UKAŞ İnşaat Anonim Şirketi within the group. The scope covers building works, main-contractor undertakings, subcontracting, steel structures, and renovation and strengthening.

The activity is built on the group's iron and steel supply chain: the party supplying the material and the party undertaking the work sit under the same roof.

Community Studies

An Institute for Community Studies is being established under the UKAŞ roof. The institute is designed to conduct data-driven research on social life, turn findings into openly accessible publications, and make room for young researchers.

Research, analysis, institute and education activities are among the registered headings of the articles of association; the institute is the first institutional step within that scope.
